School Curriculum and Subjects
- Good Samaritan School follows the CBSE curriculum and prescribes CBSE/NCERT textbooks. It also has introduced the Mindset curriculum of the Delhi government.
- The Foundational Classes, ie classes I & II and III to V have four core subjects: Hindi, English, Mathematics, and Environmental Science, equally balanced with Co-curricular learning and activities: which include Games, Music, Arts & Crafts, Library Time, Audio Visual Learning, Computer Science, Value Education, Work Education and Happiness Mindset curriculum. The focus is on literacy and numeracy developing the skills of reading and writing, understanding and speaking, and comprehension and communication.
- Classes VI to VIII have five core subjects: Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science, and a third language, German or Tamil. At this stage, the skills of analytical thinking, comparison, and critical and creative thinking are developed. Extra-skill subjects such as Calligraphy, Coding, and Digital Citizenship are also taught. Deshbhakti, the Mindset curriculum is introduced at this stage.
- Classes IX & X have five core subjects: Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science, and a 6th optional subject either Food Production/ Information Technology/ Artificial Intelligence or Health Care Services. At this stage the skills such as remembering / understanding; comparing and analyzing are reinforced along with higher order thinking skills of critical and creative thinking. The entrepreneurship Mindset curriculum strives to develop their creative and executive skills
